What makes up the K-Guard System?
The K-Guard™ system is comprised of four main components: the hood, gutter, downspouts and the patented K-Guard™ hangers. The hood uses fluid adhesion physics. As an illustration, this means that water adheres to the curve of the hood and flows into the gutter, while leaves are shielded from entering. Additionally, the gutter itself is a full-sized, 6-inch gutter. As a result, this larger gutter is able to handle more water than the gutters used in most any other leaf-free system. We also utilize over-sized, 3″x4″ downspouts. On the whole, this allows for quicker and more effective transfer of water away from the home, foundation and landscaping. Lastly, our patented K-Guard hangers keep the gutter system rigid, securely mounted and prevent any sagging that can occur with other systems on the market.
